Game Night

Tonight after church, David and I had "game (& snack) night."  We played a really interesting, challenging game called Huggermugger (for information about the game, click here).  I have only met one other family that has ever heard of it, let alone played it.  My cousin and his wife gave it to my parents when I was little, and to be honest, we didn't play it for ages.  One day, we decided to pull it out of the closet and give it a try.  To our surprise, we loved it.  When David & I got married, we somehow ended up with it at our house (my parents live next door, so they can come get it anytime).

Huggermugger is a word game, involving spelling, defining, unscrambling, etc.  David is much better than I am, and I have yet to win a game.  It becomes very frustrating...  My husband is very intelligent!

Anyways, here is a list of our favorite (and least favorite) games:

Favorites:
  • Huggermugger
  • Pente
  • Scrabble
  • Scattergories
Least Favorites:
  • Monopoly
  • Life
  • Operation
What games do you like to play as a family?

On another note:  I have my rings back!  They look brand new!

We don't usually have a lot of time to play games, but sometimes the girls will play Scattergories on Sunday nights after church. For some reason, they don't let me play, though... :-(
