Distortion of Beauty

Pause the music on the sidebar!

I couldn't believe all that went into making this woman look like the "finished product."  There are girls all around us (even at our church) that believe they need to look like women who are portrayed by the media.  If only everyone could see all that goes into making someone look like this...  It's so fake!  The woman looks just fine before they "make her over," yet they have to "perfect" her.  It's no wonder that there are girls struggling with anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders.  Also, they become obsessed with their looks.

Proverbs 31:30: Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

It's the Logans at Sweet Springs Baptist in AL that we know. We sang there on Nov. 12th & 13th.
I think that's really neat!

Yes, they were there, too. Those were some really good services.

We'll have to keep in touch, and hopefully meet y'all in person someday soon!

I saw this video on one of my pen pal's blogs. Isn't it amazing what technology does now adays?

When I see models like from the 50's their hips aren't as skinny as they are expected to be today.

Somewhere I have heard that size 6 is now considered lie size 10 was at one time in the model's world. :(
