Exciting News

The principal of the private school where I recently interviewed called me today! She didn't come out and say, "you got the job." However, she did say that she wanted me to come in next Thursday afternoon to meet with the other third grade teacher to go over the curriculum and other issues. If she were not very interested, why would she be wasting her time, as well as the other teacher's? When she called to set up the initial interview, I started getting very excited. I tried to stop my excitement from building too quickly because I didn't want to be let down. I still don't want to count my chickens too early, but it's looking like I can at least get excited. Please keep praying about this situation!

The viewing today went pretty well. Everyone was civil, etc., so that was good. Tomorrow is the funeral, so please remember to pray for those who are lost. The preacher, as well as my dad, are going to be giving the gospel. Pray for them, as well.

On another note: being around various family members just made me so thankful that my parents are married to each other, saved, and doing their best to live for the Lord! There is so much baggage for those whose brothers and sisters have different parents, etc. I'm thankful that I don't know much about that! I'm also thankful that God is great and merciful and can change bad situations into good ones!
