For some reason, today I have been thinking about things that I don't want to live without (excluding clothing items).
Here are a few that I use on a daily basis, and hope that I never have to go without:
Bible
Toothbrush
Shampoo/Conditioner/Comb/Brush
Google (I LOVE googling things)
Flat Iron (for hair)
Computer
Cell Phone
Car
I'm sure we all have items that we don't want to go without. So often, I think we take these things for granted. I always want to be certain that I'm thankful for all the blessings that I have, no matter how insignificant they seem. Psalm 100:4 says, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." (Also see Ps 106:1, 107:1)
I think the Lord must be dealing with me about being thankful because that is what keeps coming to my mind. I know that I am blessed, and I'm sure you can examine your life and find areas of immense blessing. I need to go beyond recognition to thanksgiving! That's what I am working on.

Today, I've been thinking about what it is to cultivate a grateful heart! Isn't that amazing?
God is good and I know that I too often forget so many of His benefits!
