When we arrived home this afternoon, she was floating atop the goldfish bowl's water. After buying the fish, we started researching goldfish on the net... a little too late. Apparently goldfish bowls are not intended for goldfish... ??? Yeah, someone didn't like goldfish. I think I'm going to take Karen's suggestion and try the Betta fish... they have a much better track record (wave record, maybe) than goldfish.

That's too bad! I suppose that is the difference between a real fish and a fish screensaver...real fish die. Or so you told us the other day. Sorry to hear about it. Hopefully the Betta does betta!
Oh, I am so sorry that it happened...we loved our beta...it lived for 2 1/2 years!

I'm so sorry to hear that! Our goldfish never lasted long either, but our Betta lasted a while.
