Today, a group of us went canoeing and had a blast. At first, Meredith and I weren't doing so hot, but after a bit of trial and error, we got the hang of it. We lagged behind the others, taking our time to observe the nature around us. We saw an otter, several birds, and a few turtles. Meredith may have even seen an alligator, but she kept saying, "just look straight ahead," because she didn't want me to freak out if it started coming our way. Anyways, it was a day of great fun, and we all want to try to go again sometime soon... Hopefully next time David will be able to go with me.
