Greetings! No, I'm not dead, if anyone's wondering... I've just been unbelievably busy! I never knew 20 eight year olds could keep me hopping :). Honestly, I am loving third grade! My students are great... we've had no behavior problems in 3 weeks... that's pretty good! They are sweet, smart, and, for the most part, respectful. Praise the Lord! Pray that this continues to be the case!
I have to share this one story: During a prayer before lunch one day, I asked the Lord to help the kids do their best to listen and learn and for Him to help me be the best teacher possible. When I got finished, one boy raised his hand to ask a question. He said, "Mrs. Brown, why did you pray that you'll be a good teacher? You already are one!" Isn't that sweet? He's not one to throw away a compliment, so I was happy to see that I've "reached" him.
I hope all of you out in the "blogging world" are doing well! I have to admit, I haven't been reading blogs either... It's high time I catch up on what's going on in your lives. I miss that!
